it's been a minute!

ok, ok. before you all judge me for being a horrible poster, let me tell you, our computer is all jacked up (again)and i really don't want to post w/o pics (i can't upload new photos from my camera). sissy and q have started basket ball and are learning all the finer points (ie: fundamentals)of the game. they are enjoying it a lot! big ryan thinks this is sissy's sport. she is doing very well and seems to understand the game! yay sis!!! as for big ryan and me, just working and trying to keep the house together! i will write soon, i've missed this!!!

saturday backyard cleanup!

so satruday was a beautiful day, and we decided to clean up the backyard. the kids had a ball washing the patio table and chairs with soapy water, pulling weeds, and just investigating around. tho q gave up and said he was "too tired". the back of my legs are still sore!!! gotta get that elliptical machine from niss asap!!!

the chocolate fountain!!!!

We were given a choc. fountain from sandy and finally used it this evening. what a treat!!! very yummy, and now everyone (except daddy) has tummy aches!!! that's what you get for gluttony :(. well, it was very much enjoyed as you can see by the pics. thanks sandy!!!!

a night in little italy

it was spaghetti dinner nite at our school. lots of pasta, lots of fun. we spent the evening catching up w/our friends, the johnson's (rachel, matt, "b", izzie and lex) and the campbell's (sierra "coach j", jalen & "k"). we also were treated to a musical performance from our first graders. the music selection was "on top of spaghetti", "that's amore" and two other songs i did not even listen to (that's what happens when friends are around)(don't tell q!!). the other highlight of the evening was that big and little ryan won potted daffodils!! they were sitting in the lucky chairs. now at least we have a little springtime in the house! the only bummer of the evening was the EMPTY wine bottles that were supposed to be "decoration" on the tables. to me it was just a cruel joke!!!
